Anon v a seemingly tag/fish, but no hud. Prob around the 19/16 stuff, fairly tight and not very aggressive so far.

So here's my wtf move of the day! This was a major raise guys, what do I do with that one!

My first thought was ship it (my first thought should really be fold versus these people imo lol) but I have few outs to help if I am behind and if they do actually have a draw it will be some combo draw with like 79ss or whatever but probably a set already was my thinking.

I don't think calling will do any good as I'll probably face a shove on the turn here. So, ship it or fold really I suppose, but if I ship I could be facing aces to. Got a bit indecisive again so here we are.

This hand... just a big old fold. Obviously we can't call as there's no turn card that'll help our hand vs any made hand. Most tag/fish reg types with just a FD here will just call. They usually aren't the types to go mental like this with A high draw only, or are they?

Too many sets and he knows you raised UTG (if he thinks that far). I've learnt to let these ones go now. There's many better spots for AKs than this to GII I think.

Easy fold against 19/16. Very little reason to get fancy and hero call down without reads. Regs at this limit are not bluffing this big with air.

Thank them for making their hand face up as 2pair or better and saving yourself money and folding after a 7bb raise.

If he's really a tight player then yeah this is an easy fold. He has 2 pair or better and so he's bombing it huge. There are some aggro guys that you would call that vs and take the shove on the turn as they would do this with every FD and 97s and they could have a lot of them with him overcalling with so many callers before him. This guy though its fold and seethe internally about how they always have it.

Long gone are the days where TPTK is an easy stack off in a 3 bet pot. Any chance that villain is remotely passive and we can get away here easily.

Like Harvie says it's great to see this because it saves you money as you're going to make a big "mistake" when you barrel the turn for value.

You suggest possibly shipping it but that's not really going to work with all his draws having good equity and you're getting smashed by everything else.
