NL10 AdKh

Anon v very tight/passive table, sat out soon after.

First mistake was I thought it was nl20 because I'd been jumping around a lot.

I think 2nd mistake is not going for it preflop, but since the guy seemed so tight Iflatted the BU to 'take a look and see what happens' Sigh.

3rd mistake I think is playing passively postflop, the turn bet from villain doesn't look very confident.

played this so bad I think there're probably a few more mistakes, fire away!

So do I call down from there now, raise and play for stacks, or fold because villain is 12/8/0 so far after around 80 hands, not a lot to go on.

Thanks.

I think sometimes its okay to flat preflop with AKo.
Turn is a call, not much reasons to fold/ raise.

As played we call turn and call it off river. There is no way we are doing anything else with blockers, top of our range and on such a great board.

So deep I don't really want to 4 bet pre.

Check calling flop and turn seems ok, no need to raise and we still beat some Ax.

On the river I would fold. AQ is the only hand we beat that bets for value on 3 streets and at 10NL I would expect him to check behind a lot.

I do not want to call AK oop. 4-bet is the way to go imo.

We also beat AT, A8s, A7s KQ, KTs, QJs, QTs and 8Ts if he wants to push with busted draw or if he is overplaying lower ace. Most likely these hands are not 3-bet, but it is at least somewhat possible.

Actually QJs can be ruled out because there is J of spades on the board.

Calling the AK is fine, especially when over 250bb deep.

Once you get to the flop this is among the better flops you could get so x/c flop, x/c turn. He'll definitely be value betting worse Ax twice so you should be in good shape, plus there are broadway draws and a turned FD he can bluff as well.

Thank you very much everybody, I had a feeling that might be the way to go, just calling down, fold river if villain get too fruity. I know they can overvalue a hand and we may even be chopping a non percentage of the time but ye,.

Thanks again all. Smile
