Just want to check what you lot think of the line here? It was a hand that stuck out a bit for me this morning.
I saw this guy having a lot of draws and the only made straight was J8, I don't see him having it a lot, but he's a limper and once in a while they could show up with it.
I ship it to basically get him to call off with draws if he decides to. I see more draws than made hands, sometimes I'll be beat by FH but I see enough times that I'm ahead to do this.

Player 5(SB) $38.93 - VP:20 PFR:13 AF:7.0 W:20|100 STL:80|83 3B:7|0 CB:67|0 N:18.40 Hands:30
Player 6(BB) $2.65 - VP:37 PFR:27 AF:2.0 W:40|0 STL:71|50 3B:14|100 CB:0|50 N:-3.25 Hands:30
Me(BTN) $10
Player 1(UTG) $37.18 - VP:40 PFR:20 AF:1.8 W:13|0 STL:75|38 3B:7|33 CB:100|50 N:-22.87 Hands:30

Player 3(CO) $19.47 - VP:27 PFR:23 AF:Inf. W:50|100 STL:83|80 3B:8|100 CB:100| N:10.27 Hands:30

Player 3(CO) folds,
Me(BTN) raises 0.40,
Player 5(SB) folds,
Player 6(BB) folds,
Player 1(UTG) calls 0.30

Flop: (7c,9s,Ts)(2 players)
Pot - 0.95
Player 1(EP) checks,
Me(BTN) bets 0.70,
Player 1(EP) raises 2,
Me(BTN) calls 1.30

Turn: Tc (2 players)
Pot - 4.95
Player 1(EP) bets 3,
Me(BTN) raises 7.60,

I think you'll get a few different answers for this one.

I like your line, and given how bad villain looks it looks a more than sensible option.

On the flop we're facing a raise on a texture where people will try and bluff you, and we have top pair in position. Once we bink the turn getting the money in can't be bad as we expect bad players to call off an 8 or QJ.

Call and keep him in I think. The K crushes QJ which is nice. After the flop x/r he can have a lot of combos that are draws or are now dead. Call turn hope he ships river or just bets and you can jam or call off and catch bluffs. Likely you will be close to all in on the river to a bet anyways. Rivers to be concerned over are 6x 8x Jx or spades. This seems like a lot but only a percentage of it is going to improve his hand. It is possibly the case that he sees all the numbers and wants to attack your raise / cbet range and this is an ideal board to do it.

I think you would have about 1/2 pot on the river. When he x/r flops and you raise the turn bet, he folds 79 total bluffs, smaller pairs etc but doesn't fold 77 99 T9 Tx J8 etc. So you fold out the hands you want him to put money in and get crammed on by hands you don't want to get crammed on by. Call and let him hang himself with his busted hands and his made hands rather than just getting it in on the turn against his made hands and few draws that are not folding to the turn raise.

I don't like the turn raise, it changes nothing and we fold all their bluffs and isolate the top of their range. Calling is by far the best line here as nothing worse calls our raise.
