NL10 QJs (4 bet bluff spot)

Posted 8 years agoEdited 8 years ago

Basically in this hand, before any of you say it, yes it looks like he's not 3 betting a lot, but I had this guy on a few other tables and he was doing it a tonne overall, may have just been a card rush, but I can't fold too much and get run over.
So firstly against a reg who we see 3betting us a lot, QJs looks too good to just keep folding, and also not good enough to just call so with some blockers to AQ, QQ, JJ, AJ etc I decide to play like this, pretty sure I should have went higher though!
On the flop I will bet small my big hands and I do pick up a draw, the guy calls...

On the turn here do I just throw in the towel now as we probably have no fold equity.

And in general does QJs look like a decent 4 bet bluff hand or no?

Suited Ax and Kx are the usual hand types which play well if you get called.

Good high card value and suitedness to give you turn bluff options.

QJs has blockers sure, but the difference is that it makes a profitable call versus a wide 3 bet range, so why waste it?

QJ isn't a bad had to 4bet bluff as you block certain value hands but as Turlock said, Axs plays much better post flop.

As played I'd just be giving up on the turn, don't think you have much fold equity and there's not really a size you can make it to b/f.
