NL10z JJ

Pre standard, flop standard, turn completes 98 but also gives him some two pearz and pair plus draw hands so bet again. Perhaps should be bigger (as fucking always).

River bricks all the draws and I bet for value. Get river check raised. That is always the nuts at NL10. However its a click back. He could have missed hearts, 22, 77, TT. But this is a fold isn't it? He can't have AK, QQ but he can have 98 or K9. Though surely that raises the turn?

I'd go for about 0.55 on flop with it being draw heavy, we can always increase the size of the pot to help it later on in the hand.

Turn again, more draws coming in and just gotta get in the habit of betting big here. It's hard to put opponent on AK, shame no stats on villain.

Plenty of 2 pair combos as well now to get value from.

Can't really put opponent on K9 or 89 either so I just think we have to call the river... what can he really have that beats us? If he played QQ and AK slow then fine he's gonna get the money isn't he but if we deduce his holdings are probably not those hands we mentioned then we can be happy calling, main thing is that we make our decision because of what we think opponent likely does/doesn't have and occasionally they'll show an odd hand.

I probably pay him off here, it's a click back so 10% misclicks and a cleverly played QJ that runs into JJ makes it enough to call Smile UL he had 89 right Wink

Yeah, did, got shown AKs, WP, GG.

Probably gonna lose a stack if he 3b pre so not to much to worry about Cheeky

Yeah but my EV line would have been better!

Not really, you put more in as a huge favourite. EV line is probably the worst thing in the world for a poker player. Gives you an unrealistic idea of what you "should" win. What about when you get JJ here but get all your stack but 10% otf then stack when he gets there? I know you're joking but it still shows you think about it enough for it to be a mental leak.

I think you can make an expolitative fold. It's highly unlikely villain has a river min raise bluff range. I would never think to myself with any certainty that villain can't have AK or QQ here as well, many players at 10NL don't 3 bet these hands because they're scared to stack them off pre.

I think your turn bet should be a lot bigger too with the pair plus draw combos out there
