Anon v my friend the 55/35/22, aggressive postflop will fire three barrels with TPNK and 2 1/2 pot barrels with any hit. Overpairs get the works.

I think I butchered another one guys. Sad

PF is ok because no aggro regs on table, just passive stations to act after me.

FLOP: I really think this is a raise but this guy can come over the top and I wont know where I am. Yes he can have 56 or a better set a she has shown. In my favour is his weaker bet size.

TURN: When will I learn? 'nuff said relly.

RIVER: Confident I am ahead now but how much to bet? I think he calls a Kx/Qx and maybe a 7x if I don't go overboard, which was my assumption given he chks to chk/c a lot here, very common for showdown value as it were.

What line can I take that's better, go broke asap if I can? Can't remember fully but think I may well have played tilty scared money after losing a lot very quick. If I play like that it's no wonder. Puke

If you're really worried about these hands when you have a set against a 55/35 fish you will find it hard to make money. They aren't folding any pair so I would have just raised it big and tried to get the money in ASAP.

We most certainly lost value in this hand by not raising. River I would have bet folded bigger to like 26bb. Expecting lots of worse hands to call and only to be raised by flushes.

I think I would have been raising by the turn. I'm not gonna be worrying that this guy can just have any old hand until he gives me reason to.

River I just again think to be bigger, these guys don't usually check their nutted hands to you. But yeah bet bigger and fold to raise.
More often we'll be ahead and win in these situations so I think it's definitely better for us to be upping the size.

I think you need to check raise bomb turn and hope he calls.

I have to echo what @Harvie said about the flop. In todays games set mining isn't anywhere near as profitable as it was 10 years ago, so it's much more important to get max value when you do hit.

Here the open raiser was UTG so he should have overpairs much more frequently than the other seats and he's never folding them. If you wait until the turn you'll make them fold more often simply because turn raises always get more credit, even from bad players.
