Versus shorty limper.

Pushing preflop is one thing but these situations are awkward on the flop. Often will run into Qx but quite often a random hand also, so for the price, is calling it off ok 2nd pair for say 30bb, or is it a fold?

Thanks.

I'd make this a lot bigger pre flop to make the SPR very small post flop making it a simple choice of getting the chips in on the flop.

As played think the call is fine, we're against Qx, draws and sometimes I'll expect to see random Ax hands here button clicking. If they had any more than 30bb+ I may consider folding to their shove or c-c the flop.

Not betting the flop here. We get called by mostly better and when behind we only have 8% equity. If it goes x/x you have the best hand and can vbet on a blank turn.

i like you line, and i call here yes or yes, maybe he have draws or A7, the only thing that would change is the OR preflop i like more 4bb or 5bb vs limpers

Agree with Harvie and Cookie. Make it bigger pre punish him for limping. Checking back flop keeps in his poor hands and lets him make a pair that he thinks might be good, or lets him stab turns, and minimises instances where we are behind and have to bet / fold or bet / call and hope on the flop when a reasonable % of the hands are draws. It also balances us as not cbetting 100% of hands and forces opponents to rely more on making hands and betting them rather than relying on us to cbet so they can jam.

Making it bigger pre flop is more likely to encourage him to stack it pre rather than call and feel commited early on. A 29bb stack will get it in with a range you're well ahead of.

Not sure why you c bet this flop. Even if we're making this call, it's not a fist pump situation. I would much prefer to check and see if we can get away with only putting a single street of money in.
