Anon hudless versus confirmed loose/passive stationey and in most pots somehow or other.

So I'm thinking in hindsight on the turn to raise bigger, this guy wont care if he has an ace anyway. If I raise big enough I can nearly set it up for shoving and still get a call from an ace.

Question would be how big to raise to? Also, as played is river just a shove versus this player or maybe 3/4 pot instead?

Thanks

Played it perfect IMO. Like the bet sizing on the turn and the river. By shoving we get them to fold too many Ax hands.

I like it. Thats exactly the line I would take to be honest. I'm kind of surprised Harv isn't suggesting raising bigger on the turn with big value hand but I tend to err on 3x in general. I think though if you raised bigger and then jammed Ax would get away from it, putting you on a Jx.

Another well played hand.

On the turn if he's loose as you say then he can have a lot of weak Ax. Even stations can find a fold sometimes if you push them hard enough.

On the river shoving will defintely make him fold more of his range than we want. I think your sizing is perfect.

Lots of good hands over the last few months, how are your results you never say? You can't be far away from a shot at 50NL now

Ah @Turlock you are very generous and just made my day sir!
I was hoping to be at nl50 by the summer but results are, shall we say, not exactly matching my current level of play. That's my excuse for getting mashed at the tables anyway! Cheeky

I do thank you for the encouragement though and nl50 would (will) be a dream, but on hold for now. Probably and hopefully by the end of the year after clawback and at the bossman's discretion of course. Bowing
