What should we think about when we decide our move here ?

Do we think we can make him fold?
Can do we ever get paid off when we hit our hand?

When we get it in, are we always behind ?

Villain is a very tight reg

Preflop calling the 4b is fine. the T876ds flops well a lot of the time. 3b pre is fine also lowers SPR and allows us to stack off lighter and make less mistakes out of position. An issue is though that you both look to be 300 bb deep pre.

On this board we are slightly worse than flipping vs AAxx with diamonds. We can lead here if they are passive postflop and will check back a lot or check raise get it in if they are betting on the flop.

Saying they are very tight reg weights ranges to AAxx and some KKxx more so than rundowns with diamonds. I would be more concerned about stack off ranges if they are a player that would 4b rundowns with suits.

You should think how you want to play your whole range vs this bet.

Do we think we can make him fold?

This you have to know the player a bit to know. Does he cbet to much? Is he scared of getting it in behind? I think a common leak in lower stakes from nits its they b/f to much EQ.

Can do we ever get paid off when we hit our hand?

The answer here is yes.

When we get it in, are we always behind ?

We are close to flipping, 48,7%, vs his get it in range that i think is something like this 789t,89TJ,9TJQ,6789,AA89,AA88,AA99,AA44,AdAxd,AAJT,AA67,AA9.

Just to clarify this; because we have no diamonds, it makes it more likely that their hand contains diamonds if they are 4 betting premium rundowns, which means a concern is we are being freerolled by a similar wrap but they also have diamonds.

Pretty amazing breakdown there by @Prostaker ... i think players and I am not saying @ProJondi btw but they forget to do all of this stuff when transitioning and it's why PLO is still super profitable. All of the above would come so naturally under a standard NLHE thought process but when we move over we stop thinking at that level and can make mistakes.

From a PLO newb i look at the hand and think it is probably the best way to play it post flop as the other options of calling and folding do not seem great and if we are pealing a 4b oop with this hand then this flop is favorable.

I don't like the 3bet with that hand. 300bb deep oop, and top gap. We rarely flop strong enough to go happily all-in on the flop, but instead we flop a lot of stuff where we don't really know where we are (as lot of our hits can be dominated).
