can we check back the turn ? bet small and fold to a shove ? everything seems so not attractive

I agree nothing seems like fun here.

I don't see a problem with making some kind of a small blocking/protection bet of around $10-12 andfolding to a shove. Obviously intending to check back on the river.

Checking to reevaluate on the river can't be bad, but i'd much prefer to take control of the hand.
