I Cbet here with rag AA expecting to take it down a lot and be called by some QQxx KKxx T89x 789x etc.
When the 28/17 SB calls flop I decided to check the turn as I have the Kh blocker, can hit A, and get a better idea of where I am at and know to be concerned about 789 rivers.
The Kc hits and he leads a bit over 1/2 pot. I take this as an opportunity to rep KKxx and raise his river lead. Am I lucky he doesnt have much and am I being optimistic a 6 would fold?
I have success with these spots, though pair boards tend to be hard to rep nut full to fold trips / smaller full whereas flush and straight blocker plays seem to work with a much greater frequency ex. QQ56ds on JT34A.
