Acting out of turn

A player in live poker who either announces his action or physically checks, bets, raises or folds when it is not his turn to do so. Often done accidentally, but players sometimes act out of turn intentionally to get a read on what an opponent may do. When done intentionally, this is often referred to as "angle shooting."
