Hi,

Is there a discord channel for poker where we can chit chat or talk / link to interesting articles?

I see that there is no real intrest in this?
Maybe a skype group?

I'm sure there are some Skype groups of a more 'exclusive' persuasion focused solely on the improvement of the members, but I don't believe we have a casual one for people to just talk poker. Since Discord makes it so easy to set-up new servers you can be the first person to fill that niche so to speak.

Good idea,

Feel free too join. I don't know much about how to set things up but the more people the merrier I guess Smile

There's one problem with discord - The invite links expire after 24hrs so the above link won't work indefinitely.

This one is indefinite, I made sure that this isn't one that will expire after 24h. And also there is no limit on this, so people can invite everyone everyone.
I hope this thing will kick off, would be nice.

.....Gonna need some knowledge bombs here. How did you get an indefinite link?! I use discord for my twitch channel, it annoys me to no end having to generate a new link every time I go live!

Because of this thread I've created an account on discord, but I don't really know what it is or how it can be used. Can someone explain please.

It's basically a hybrid between Skype and TeamSpeak. You can use it for either text or voice communication and in order to add a contact to your list, you have to create your own server first (which is free) or join an existing one.

Cool, thanks.
