Opinion on this weird hand

Posted 7 years ago

I had a weird hand the other day! I was playing 2/4 at a local casino. There are always bunch of gamblers and some good players. There is a guy that I never saw before, no info basically. I find a pair of kings on the button. I raise to $15 and two people call. Flop is "7 9 Jack" off suite. The villain checks, the guy in the middle checks and I bet $25. The villain shuffles all-in instantaneously. I had like $500 behind, the pot is like $65 and the villain has me covered. Guy in the middle folds and I throw up inside and fold. Should I call?

Kind of hard to do anything in this spot than fold without any further reads on the player.

For example, if you've seen him do this with AJ then it's a snap but regardless I'm throwing this in the muck.

what hands over shove the flop? Nutted hands and maybe AJ? Not sure a OESD or gutshot is doing this.

It's really hard to say with no info but I'm inclined to agree with @Harvie. Also, for future reference, we have a section of the forum called Line Checks & HH Review dedicated to discussions about specific hands.
