Noobs are typically passive, so more calling less raising and that leads to flatting hands like AK, KK, AA and basically everything else. Reraising AK is still super profitable in tons of situations, don't worry!

It's kind of like if you go out to the casino and see 5 players limp preflop then it turns out one of them has KK and another QQ but they checked down on Axxxx and then complain about a 1bb "cooler" or "bad beat". It's not a new meta, it's just bad.

What stakes have you been seeing this? I think getting AK in pre at 5NL/10NL is questionable. Everybody 3/4bets a lot tighter and a lot of people don't seem to stack off with JJ/QQ

Yeah 10NL. Do you guys Stack off with JJ in the blinds btw?

atm i only stack off with QQ

Your get it in range should be completely based on your opponents stats nothing to do with the hand you hold or whether your in the blinds! Stacking off with QQ can be a fist pump get it in or a huge mistake depending on opponent!

A general rule of thumb with AK I used when having trouble with it is simply to always try and be the one shoving rather than calling! Calling off at the micros with AK is usually a mistake!

It depends on the opponent. In reg games against a loose player or someone with less than 100bb's, yes. Other than that, no... I go for QQ, AA, KK, AK blind vs. blind or blind vs. CO/BTN

In fast poker variants, I am super tight with my stacking off range unless I have a decent read
