Well this is a pleasant and nice surprise, thank you to you people.
I showed my Birthday cards to my mrs and said, 'It's nice to be wanted isn't it.' and in her Sunday best mumbled Barry White voice she replied, 'How would you know!?'

What did you get up to? Anything nice?

Yes, we went for a nice meal in a public house overlooking a local lake full of water birds like swans, ducks and cormorants. WE cycled thee, it only takes about 15 minutes and my sister paid for everything, how nice was that.

We haven't been able to afford to do anything like that for ages, so it was a great day and Mrs Mal ate everything in sight! I don't call her T.A.R.D.I.S. belly for nothing, all 4ft 10in of her.

I got a bit ill because I'd done too much in the day but it was a very nice day anyway and worth it.
