I was briefly interested in the idea around the time the Black Friday hit and while I'm no authority on the subject and I did very limited research it looked to me like Forex is basically poker against a tougher field (you can learn rules of hold 'em in a few minutes, it requires considerably more time to learn the rules of forex trading, also the most powerful players have significantly higher edge over you than the best players in poker) where the winning strategy is much more elusive. Besides, I find it a bit boring, to be honest and it's hard to make money doing something you're bored with.
