Burgers/sausages/steak/chicken etc with a cold beer - ideally in the sun with friends/family , is pretty much my ideal summer thing to do👍🏻
The wife and I take a 2 week holiday every year in the summer abroad and this year it's an all inclusive in Crete at the beginning of July👍🏻
I've got a stag do to go on next Friday for 3 nights in Riga - that will be messy but really looking forward to it.
If anyone has been to Riga and can suggest good places to eat/drink etc that'd be appreciated.

Who does not like BBQs? Thats crazy! Same for me, I love BBQs, have one at least every other week in the summer. Family/friends, good food, drinks, music, sunshine and drunkeness, will be lots of that going on for sure!

Other then that I just want to get out a bit more and have fun. My first summer having a car/being able to drive so I will be a bit more adventurous and just enjoy life!

I'll be waiting another 7 months for the Aussie summer but in the meantime I'll enjoy the winter which is probably warmer than your UK summers anyway

We can't afford holidays but it's my friends wedding this August and his gf has loadsa money so it'll be a huge do. Need to win some moolah to get new clothes for it.

And yes, BBQs are a good idea but unlikely to happen in our garden, I'm of the 'If it's not burnt it's not ready yet' fraternity.

Ohhh @Pwll you mentioning the Olympics has just reminded me of something else I will be doing this summer.... Euro 2016! Pub summers with Euro/World cup are the best!

Oh shit yeh how did we forget about the Olympics and Euros! Deffs a massive part of it!

Nothing so far although I'm planning a short euro-trip somewhere. Not decided where or with who.

Another option is to buy a Playstation 4 and not leave my room for the next few months.
