Ive been playing poker for about 5 years in total and I have done alright, I cant complain to be honest, I have had some mtt sucess but 95% of my time is at the cash tables. I actually started playing on the Playstation for play money and amassed a virtual fortune. So as many others have done I decided to deposit $50 into FullTilt thinking I was going to be an instant hero and make millions....how wrong was I? Fifteen mins later and Im broke, probably didnt help that I had no clue about BRM and sat straight down at NL50. Well that pissed me off! I deposited again and vowed not to let that happen again and touch wood it hasnt. I saw an advert on tv for a free $50 to play with, I got this $50 and guess what Im still technically playing with it years later!

I played on many sites over the years but never really moved up too far as I have been one of those players that build it up....cash it out...build it up... you get the idea.

I come across this site purely by accident and have to admit its one of the better forums/training sites that I have been a part of, friendly staff and friendly users so in the words of Biggie "its all good baby baby."

After watching from the sidelines at the other horses in the VIP stable, I thought I will try this staking out and see what happens. I have to be honest I am not here for the money to play with, guys, Im here to pick all your BRAINS!! I play an ok game but I know there are so many better players on this site that I can learn from. Theres an old Zen saying "you must learn to understand, before you can be understood" so basically Im gonna keep quiet and listen to what you guys have to say before I put my fishy views on you!!

Please feel free to ask me any questions as I will be asking you guys plenty, and I apologise in advance but some of them will be the daftest questions you have ever heard!

Well that's another day over. It was better than yesterday but not by alot, finished slightly down for the day but over all im happy with probably 80% of my game, maybe soon I will be a 100! Volume was not as high as I would normally like for a Friday but got my little girl who wanted to watch a film with Daddy aahhhh, I hear you say, not really I had to watch bloody Twilight!! What shite that was Dusk till Dawn it certainly is not!!

Anyway back to poker.....

Going to try and squeeze as many hands in as possible tomorrow, which will probably consist of lots of small sessions throughout the day or when ever I can get 10 mins peace! Im planning to get a good session in Sunday afternoon /evening. Its a shame that I cant play between 8 and 11 as these are the most hours I have free during the day on my own (you listening Jon lol) so would be niceto play then.

I also was wondering if there are any NL10 players that maybe want to hook up and do some sweats, [you up there Gordon!] and try and move up and improve each others game?

Well what can I say another pants day at the office!! Missed the weekend grind due to family commitments so thought I would try and catch up today, and what a day it was...

Played a total of 2314 hands today and made a grand total of -14.23, woo hoo I hear you say, happy with the volume but played like a bit of a tit at times and got very unlucky in all the big pots but unfortunately that is the beautiful game we call poker!

Biggest losing hand of the day was..... Pocket Rockets, them bastards have cost me a pretty penny today thats for sure!

I will add some graphs when I have a half decent day, which fingers crossed will be soon

nice quote, mate, we will talk later on the chat, but, dont pay so much attention into EV, just keep in mind, plenty of important spots are not seein there and if you just "follow" the EV line in order to see you are running "bad" or "good" we are in the wrong way, belive me. Your decitions were good? besides the EV talkin, then ok, thats the important thing. that session looks really fine, you lost some stacks there and big hands, but its easy to spot little pots that made you up your overall session, see what i meant before? those are not the +EV

I have not had the chance to play much this weekend due to family so got some serious catching up to do, gutted I couldn't do lockdown so going to have to have my own one at some point!!
