OK so I dont want to sound like a broken record but we have been having a ton of crazy bad beats recently... Last session I believe we lost 4 times where we were 95% favourite on the turn. One of the hands I feel was actually interesting to post here because it wasn't all in pre.
The hand itself is pretty deep in a $8.80 6-max turbo. The villain has been very loose and aggressive in the play that I had seen from him previously.
The main questions I have are:
1. Should we be shipping turn?
2. Should we ever be folding river?
My thought process was that on the flop and the turn we are often so far ahead that we dont want to fold out his bluffs by reraising. I realise this may have been slightly greedy because we only have top pair on a reasonably wet board. Just with the FD on the turn I feel we could have him drawing very light indeed.
As it turns out he had to hit a 3 of diamonds or hearts and he makes it, but if we ignore his actual hand and think about ranges for shoving the river. Should we be calling now that the FD gets there, and obviously he could have some 2 pair hands like 79, some possible straights and obv the flush.
