I'm not a fan of the turn shove as I don't expect over pairs to fold as the turn changed nothing. Also, if you had KK-AA here I don't think you would over shove, you'd make it around 50-70% to get calls from worse and shove river.

Check-raising the flop is nice with our hand too.

Given stack sizes on the turn I think a check raise would likely just price him in . I'd have thought BTN would 3b JJ+ pre so the only overpair he can reasonably have here is TT which you block. I like the shove.

This first argument doesn't really make sense. If you don't shove ATs here since overpairs won't fold then you should be shoving KK+! If you don't want to shove KK+ on the turn since you won't get called from worse then you should shove ATs because you have fold equity!

To be honest, this hand is really hard to screw up, and I don't think you did. I'm completely fine with the turn shove but I agree it would have been better if you set up the sizings correctly. I would also be fine with a flop x/r at some frequency. I would definitely not like a turn x/r given how much money there is behind.

So, it was so hard to screw up even I got it right! Thanks for the vote of confidence anyway!

I think I personally go a little bigger Pre and on the Flop which sets up less of an over-shove. I think that is less polarising and you can do it with more of your range in theory but as Komodo says: If you're shoving with ATss, KK+ has to be in the balance too, even 9x w/ equity.

I don't mind this at all.

By betting small on the flop you keep his range a little wider than otherwise giving you increased fold equity on the turn. On the topic of KK+, I would be making it big on the flop to deliberately offer better odds on the turn encouraging more calls from worse hands.
