I think I'd just jam over his weird little 4bet. QQ in BB vs BTN I'm just going broke. Unless I had reads he would spew off post flop. If thats why you called then as played just let him fire the turn I think. Call and the pot is $6 with $4 left behind and snap off jam.

jam pre

edit: @thetallpaul It's massive 4bet. 20bb on top over 10bb 3bet, standard is like 11-12bb 4bet there.

Oh yeah. For some reason I misread that as $1.50 4bet vs $1 3bet.

Didnt really have any reads.
Yep massive 4bet. Maybe jam pre would have been better hmm. Smile

We are a little deep so calling isn't so bad. Villain is BTN but his stats look on the tighter size and I doubt he doing much light 4 betting even from LP. I'm not one for calling 4 bets in general though, I think I'd still go with it here.

As played on the flop I'd be tempted to just call and see if he barrels again. We're probably way ahead way behind and i'm not folding even on a 4 straight board if we see a turn

Okey thank you!
Went all-in today with JJ today in similar spot but vs an very aggro player who had AK, went well that time!

I mean if you call here you cant really fold the turn right since SPR? I feel like if you call its close your eyes and call it off no matter what cards come.
Maybe it was bad since I think he will fold out all hands I beat when I shove the flop. I guess he will call with trip Tens and AQ but pretty unlikely he has those...
Felt like he had AK.

This is actually quite an interesting hand.

Preflop: I like the 3bet and I like your sizing. When we get fourbet from a seemingly tight player it sucks but IMO folding is out of the question, I don't think I like jamming here either though since best case scenario is we GII vs AK and have a marginal equity edge so I like the call. When we take this line we should be looking to get the money in on any flop that does not have an A or a K.

Flop: Absolutely awesome flop for us in general, if villain has AA then we're going broke (but we were going to be going broke on most flops vs AA anyway. Here though we can get a lot of value from AK type hands. I don't think I like the jam though, I think flat calling here is going to be better. In the very unlikely scenario that villain has some sort of weird bluff here then we want to keep it in, and we are going to be able to get the rest of the money in very easily on the turn or river if villain has any sort of value hand.

I don't think calling is bad or anything like that especially given the stack depth but I'd slightly prefer to just get it in pre.

Similar story with the flop. I actually think both calling and raising will have kinda similar expectation (with folding obviously being atrocious).
