Too many draws on the turn to fold and we have re-draws. River is actually quite interesting, due to card removal it's quite hard for them to have all that many nutted hands here, I also don't expect them to pot here with a straight.

I guess T8/J8/33 are all in their range because of the min raise, but we block T8/J8, I'm probably calling here due to the missed FD and blockers we hold.

Bet/calling the turn is defo standard. Think we have to high SPR to shove and we have poss so flat is fine.

Think he can bet JJ TT 33 88 Q9 and 97 like this. Thats 38 combos. He gives you 2:1 so he the VB:Bluff neeeds to be 2:1 aswell. Can you find 19 combos he bluffs with?

Truth is the regs on here aren't great and oftentimes defy their stats, most don't bluff a lot on the river in my experience but I'll check that out in HM over the weekend.

This spot is actually a little taxing. But the more I think about it I feel we'll have to fold. We can run the numbers like MR. Prostaker, but one thing I find in micros at this level is people aren't skilled enough to bluff in a balanced manner! We're not vs pros, and making a slightly nitty fold maybe here (although not too nitty is it?), I'll have no shame in doing. The ratio they show up with bluff to value is wayyyyy higher to value than it will be further up the stakes.

One thing I'll add is... trying to play nitty tables to practise isn't really worth it. Not at the lower microstakes. It'll be a long time up the stakes before we find enough people playing balanced to apply good GTO strategy. I apply a few rules... one like I said above. The ratio of bluff to value in some hero call spots is heavily favoured to value vs the average player (unless you have any data to say a certain player is different). Find good tables! (you know this already). And also PFAI strategy needs to be slightly altered compared to higher stakes unless you have info on a particular player.

I found that I started doing A LOT better in these particular games when I followed some of the rules I came up with from my experience. As we go up, we adapt. But every level has it's population tendencies that we need to get to grips with.

@Grocker6 hi there bud I'm on Betvictor nl4 6 max trying to win the bossman a bottle of vodka for his Christmas! Started at 11.50 and got to 80 but not playing much and racked up some Sklansky bucks for 5 BI running like crap today

It doesn't matter to me if I win or lose at the moment though, (apart from the vodka lol), I'm trying to get the math right and doing ok so far preflop. I made my ranges from scratch using population tendency for utg and taking it from there. So far so good and it's flop work after the weekend!

Oh, and no fishy tables on standard tables most of the time, only maybe weekends stuff but I beat the regfest for a nice clip anyway obviously.

I think the line is totally standard.

Unless he floated with 97 you're almost certain still ahead, assuming that he raises sets on the flop. That just leaves TT. The rest of his range can be stuff like pair plus 9 for the draw which micro players love to raise even though they have enough showdown value to call with.

Once he fires the river though, due to the stakes I would be happy to fold.
