No just fold flop or just fold turn.

You need some serious reasoning to do that and not just reasoning to convince yourself villain will play how you want him to.

IIRC from my 888 period mentalist is a pretty solid reg. I think defending pre is aboslutely fine but I don't see any reason to defend flop. I think he's rarely super out of line here on the turn and I think we can easily fold there.

I'm not even sure this is a hand I would ever float the flop with. This might be an issue with me not having played 50-100NL for 3 years. Would you consider this standard in today's games?

As played I wouldn't bluff raise this turn with just a gutshot without a specific read that villain folds too often. That said, I don't think it can ever be horrible at these stakes where turn raises are still viewed as nutted, maybe it's +EV. What is your image in this spot?, will villain view you as getting out of line here?

Hand seems fine tbh. Obviously we defend because of the sizing, not for any other reason. Seems as if check/raising is totally reasonable also with our back-door draws.

Hard to say which is best without further info, so usually just pick one and go with it. But it's hard for this hand to not be a defend when facing such a small sizing.

c/f flop, what's your plan on the turn? i dont think c/r with blank its ev+ on that spot.
