Turn: Can I ever fold their raise? Hands in their range that beat me include [A9, A8, A5, 99, 88, 67]. I'm ahead of Asxs, JT of spades or clubs and T7 of spades or clubs. Could also be ahead of a random K or Q flush draw (K9 and K8 or Q9 and Q8 of spades) and AK-AJ (less possible - they raise preflop). My plan here is to call and reevaluate river.

River: Can I ever, EVER fold their shove? I'm losing to A9 only and I'm beating 88, overplayed flushes and straights. Plus missed flush draws, although I don't think they even consider bluffing as an option given the action. What do you think of their bet sizing on the river? Bottom line... Can I ever get away from this or is this a setup no matter what?

he limped AA you have 2x pot at the river this is just an absurd spot... as for turn idk I think I would likely call ... readless zoom contributes to calling turn imo

Don't like the call pre-flop in the SB, we're going to be too profitable here even deepish I don't like the call full ring.

Flop is fine.

Turn I'm getting out of dodge, yes we have two pair but I don't see a single hand we beat when they raise this deep at 25nl. Expecting to be up against a straight or better here.

River plays itself.

Don't really get your objection to our preflop play. What do you think we should have done instead?

I guess flop is fine, although I think I could have raised a little bigger on such a wet board.

Turn... Thing is I tanked and folding was the first option I considered. Then, I decided to call in case he's overplaying a combo draw and check-fold or check-call river, depends to whether flush and straight draws get there and their bet sizing. But I assume I'm behind most of the time.

On the river... What do you think about their bet size? Begging to be called? The problem is that they could bet this way both with hands that beat me (A9 and... AA) and hands that I beat (88 and flushes that disregard the paired board). Also, do you think they overplay and shove flushes given the action? I'm an unknown to them as well, so I myself could semi-bluff and then overvalue an A, probably the A, or even JT and J7 of spades (for a made flush) and 67 for a straight. So they shove with a flush hoping to get called by these hands. I don't know this guy's opinion on me, so...

The more I think about it, the more I think I played OK. But I'd like to read more opinions.

I also do not understand the objection to our preflop play. I am assuming you think this is a raise spot? If we get called then we have to play an inflated pot oop. Not to mention if we get 3bet then we have to fold.

I think flop is fine.

I am folding the turn though. There are too many combos that we are behind to after he flats our flop raise. We only beat combo draws like Ks-9s etc as you mentioned. Behind to every 2 pair he could realistically have in this spot and can only really beat a flush draw or a bluff.

River is a sick spot and in all honesty I am not sure what I would have done. After you check-raise and he ships I don't think he has a flush. I think he flats a flush after your check-raise given the board paired. The hands he is likely shipping river with are boats (AA, A9, 98, 88) and missed clubs that picked up equity on the turn. Tough to fold a full boat given you have 3rd nuts and its so difficult to put him on AA given the late position preflop limp. I think I am calling river and hoping to see 88.
