What do you guys think about the river shove? Villain is 24/17/2.9 over 300 hands with WTSD/WSD of 24/25.

Flop check back was intentional because I saw he probes turn/bet river a high frequency. Plan was to call turn, raise river on good runouts.

Facing the river jam I was a little shocked, and feel like I should always be folding here...but the fish in me says call :/

This is a fold. Think about long term results in this spot rather than this exact instance.

Also, please dont check this flop in future, you are just asking for trouble at the micros.

I think you should just bet the flop no reason to slowplay on this board because he's still going to call you with his premiums and overpairs. As played the river is a fold as they never do this as a bluff.

C bet the flop. You want to be betting 3 streets for value from over pairs and two pairs. There's also 54s which can call flop and turn.

You make your money from value betting in these size games, not from calling or inducing bluffs. Keep it simple bet bet bet.

As played I would fold river. I've called off way too many of these in the past and they always seem to have it.

I don't get the flop check, missing value here. On the river fold
