So I tried a couple of things out yesterday and need some help deciding which is better. I have two of these for you if you wouldn't mind giving an insight.

Versus weak reg, which maybe begs the question straight away, why do it here, but most regs can fold to aggression when weak.

So, we get to the flop and villain punts 1bb, he's having a laugh I raise min bets all day with air anyway.

So I decided when he calls he cant be strong (or has KK maybe lol) and it's a 3-barrel for me time if I hit a K/3/6/5 non heart

So, it's whether I should do this or not with this hand, bet sizes etc.

Thanks.

I think this is spew and something people do too much of. We should just check fold. Yes villain bets 1BB and yes we can rep strong hands but these sticky players just hold on and we never get the job done enough of the time.

I don't think having a check raise bluff range here is needed at these stakes.

As you have showdown value and he bets 1bb into 7.5 I wouldn't mind just calling here. Many players will talk themself into hero call mode because they don't expect you to risk a hand as strong as a set to get checked around.

I don't think it's totally terrible as he will obviously fold some part of his range. You can also bink the turn as well. I'd just prefer a simpler life with straightforward lines Laugh

I personally think at 10nl it needs to be simple.
The majority of players, including a lot of regs simply play level 1 poker - they are only concerned with what they have.
3's here are beat by so much.
You are playing 3's to try to hit a set, you don't make it, I think his bet frustrates you and you tilt a bit and spew.
Tbh the raise of his flop bet isn't bad but his call should slow you down I think.
Hands like this, played like this are not profitable at the micros I think.
Just my opinion though

Something's off here. Even weak regs wouldn't make this silly play on the flop in 99% of cases. It's more likely a misclick or he's just a fish.

In either of those cases I don't like the x/r. I would x/f and feel bad about it because I folded to a minbet.

Once you're called I don't think you have much fold equity on the turn either. Kx isn't folding, flush draws aren't folding, straight draws have improved to either a straight or a pair+draw and middle pairs have potentially improved to 2 pair or a pair+draw as well. I see no reason why he can't have something like KQ or better here as well. You've said it yourself, PDDS and this flop counts.

Also, 33 is among the worst hands to do this with. It's the purest of pure bluffs drawing to only 2 outs and and the worst possible backdoor draws. Something like a random T9 of spades has better backdoors and the pair outs are potentially live as well (not that I'm encouraging you to raise T9).
