Is this a jam on the river. I think when I was playing I bet what I did for 2 reasons. 1. I don't think I really thought it through enough to realize that more than likely there was no flush as he probably would bet turn, but in the heat of the moment I think I just saw the possible flush and had reservations about putting the whole stack in. 2. I wanted him to call so felt like if I made the bet to big he would fold. Seeing what he has I feel like the size was decent, but maybe a jam is still viable as it has the chance to look kind of bluffy, but I just don't know he would call a jam with that board. Thoughts?

I think it's ok on the river as it's become less likely he has KK or AA.

But mainly as this is 4 handed I'd have no reservations about just 5 bet jamming preflop.
What were youre reasons for just calling the 4bet?

I think the stack sizes. Not sure I noticed his being much smaller but still deeper than 100bb, so a bit out of my comfort zone to just get QQ AI pre with, especially with these guys, they don't tend to 4bet bluff all that often, so I just run up against AA and KK too often when thinking of 5 bet jamming. After I posted it I did look at that and wondered why I didn't jam pre, but easy to wonder and think it is a good idea after I see he has JJ

I think your bet size is fine.

I can't see him checking in position on the turn with KK+, so when we bink the river there's not a lot of hands which make sense for his range that will call off a shove.

wp Yes I think shoves get folds too often. The bet size works. I would personally even go smaller... he doesn't look to have much here and getting called by JJ I would feel I got lucky for him to spazz the call button.
I 3b pre and am not bluffing with 88/99/AK
