NL5 AA facing jam

Posted 6 years ago

ISO limping 77/0 fish and another player comes along. Flop is not ideal but value bet vs fish is easy. Flop raise from him is not ideal. I've seen him flat SC and PP looking for the home run. Couldn't find a fold on the flop. Turn overbet jam though. Really hate to see that.

BB: 88.2 BB (VPIP: 60.00, PFR: 40.00, 3Bet Preflop: 33.33, Hands: 5)
UTG: 213.8 BB (VPIP: 77.78, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 10)

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has Ac As
UTG calls 1 BB, fold, Hero raises to 4.4 BB, SB calls 4 BB, fold, UTG calls 3.4 BB

Flop : (14.2 BB, 3 players) 8s 5d 7h
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets 10.8 BB, SB raises to 28.6 BB, fold, Hero calls 17.8 BB

Turn : (71.4 BB, 2 players) 2c
SB bets 98.8 BB and is all-in, ?

Since this is so far from a standard spot its very hard to help. Vs some 77/0 you can fold directly on the flop and vs some its a snap call OTT. He has alot of combos that beats you and need to pull off quite a big bluff for us the be ahead so if this was first hand vs him I would fold.

77/0 was the guy I was Isoing. The raise and overbet jam was from 27/19 guy, who I've not seen go crazy yet in 300 hands.

In general I'd lean towards just folding flop, hard to imagine decent looking reggish player going that bonkers on this flop multiway. Combo draws aren't possible so villain is very likely to just show up with 2p+ here the vast majority of the time. I'm not a fan of folding to a single raise like this and it's exploitable as hell, but without reads than villain is a maniac it's likely our best line.
