Hi felix, yes you are playing good, is a cooler, preflop i dont know if is better make 4bet, although for his 3bet x3.5 i think that is better only call! maybe i bet in river 1/2 pot, villain can call here with AJ/KK/QQ/JJ and only hand that winning us is AK (in this situation "check turn") but c/c is very good too

I don't mind the river call, but I suspect it's close.

Because he's in position he doesn't need to pot control and can fire the turn with weaker Ax expecting to be able to check behind on the river.

Once he fires the river it's not clear what he can be value betting at this point. His range should be capped but are we ever expecting to see AJ here?

It's possible you can make a small value bet of around 1/3 pot yourself and he might keep you honest wider than you expect with some second pair type hands.

Can't be bad the way you played it mate. Just feel like the river was crappy and this happens sometimes. I agree that it's just a bit of cooler and you can't fold anyway..
