This is not nl200 as it may seem because it was played in a different currency, so transfered it's roughly nl60.

Villian is a reg, don't know much about him, 360 hands sample.
He plays 32/22/4,4 with 70% ft3b (10 samples)
Looks quite passive, postflop agg% 23, river agg% 19
Fold to flop cbet 77% (overall, not in 3bet pots)

So first question, cbet or x?
Turn I'm giving up. Now the river... as he is so passive I don't think he is doing this with flushes/straights, but he is also likely 4betting AA/KK pre, he has like 1 combo of ATs and 2 KTs... Was really trying to think of a hand he is doing this with but couldn't think of much. I tank-called.

I'm just calling pre with this particular hand. I'd like to keep small calling range in the SB and JTs has a great playability. As played, I agree with the flop and turn play. As for the river, the ranges will be super narrow no matter how you slice it so the fact that he shouldn't have that many combos of better boats doesn't mean that he automatically has enough bluffs/worse hands for you to make the call. I think it's close but if you thought villain is really passive I'd just fold. Keep in mind that while he doesn't have to have all of the boat combos you do so it's not like JTs is the absolute top of your range in this particular spot (though it's obviously really close).

Yeah agree with preflop, especially since we have a shortstacked fish in BB who can shove on us.
Looking back at it, river should be a fold vs that nit... but hard to make it while playing

I prefer a call pre flop as well, I normally call down to 98s SB vs BTN.

As he's passive and shouldn't give out as many problems post flop, I think this makes it much more a call than even usual.

I think the c bet is standard, and I'm checking turn too.

On the river I'm not so sure it even matters that villain is passive, we beat absolutely nothing he plays this way for value. @25NL and below I'm turbo mucking this , but here we're obviously getting to the point where you can see these bluffs more often, but I don't expect it to be anywhere near the required frequency to call it off.

Cbet seems ok but you'll probably have to check at some point in the hand so just know that going in. (unless you fill up on the turn)

This is probably a spot I call while playing but then looking back at it that might not be so good. Villain's value range should be super thin but really how does he end up with a bluff here when shoving over the bet? No straights/flushes are raising and after you cbet fop his range should be well connected with the board. That basically leaves only pairs that are turned into bluffs no the river which I think is unlikely for a passive player. I think fold would be correct.

I don't really have one. I'll start flatting some raises in the sb if bb is fishy and I want to include them in the pot or if button is especially crazy or we're super deep and I think 3betting hands like this will just get me in trouble. I think the fact that bb is short stacked gives him more incentive to squeeze against at sb flat so I'd expect it quite often as long as villain isn't passive.

I think 3bet preflop and not worry about the BB too much, I used to think they'd shove at me but they ended up not doing it nearly as often as I liked to think.
Also think cbet is good and chk turn which is nasty. River I'd tank/call as well because I'm a station and I can kick tho dog if I'm wrong anyway, but it's no fistpump is it.
