I'm fine with either line otf, esp if V has a high turn probe %. But if he has a low F2CB, then you might as well just play it straightforward.

I think if you bet 3 streets, his aces always give you 2-3 streets, but his underpairs won't give more than 1-2, so you may have maximized vs these hands while sacrificing just a wee bit to his Ax. (We also save vs 9x but other than 99 I assume that's almost none of his range.)

Post flop I like the idea of checking to protect our checking range with a decent hand, but once he bets twice having cold called what looks to be a strong 3 bet, I'm really not happy feeling forced to call on the river.

With such a tight 4 bet range, and given you 3 bet MP, I would expect him to call AK here, even OOP.

Would it not be a simpler option for you to just bet small twice yourself, expecting some pairs to call at least once? Do you expect him to turn a hand like TT into a bluff here?
