Anon v weak/passive, bit of a station at 42/4

Near the bottom of my raising range but ok v this table as very passive.

Flop: normal stuff, 1/2 pot gutshot cbet.
Turn: Improve obv and cbet 1/2 again. Given villain can call down with an ovepair I don't want to play a huge pot with 9 high Smile , but I do want to fill it a bit in case I do hit, this player will pay me all day with a Jx or QQ or whatever.

River: I'd just like you to pay me a bit please! Think this could have been a lot smaller, something like 7 or 8bb to ge that Jx, Kx, two pair or even an 8 to pay me off.
When villain is strong like overpair or flush he bets river every time.

Struggling with these a bit still, cbet turn or no bet turn, how much, blah blah. Sigh.

Thanks.

Probably a fold preflop from MP regardless of table. If you want to open looser on passive fishy tables pick more big cadd hands which make TP more.

Ap I bet a but bigger ott. Our range natrually becomes stronger ott so we can bet bigger with our entire range. We are also likely to be polarising a bit although less so fmgiven the second fd.

River is fine.

Not sure why this i s posted tbh mate, if you are struggling with this then I fear you are struggling in every spot because this is as standard as standard goes Cheeky

This is kinda what I mean about knowing your range, if you know it better and what you're doing with it in lots of spots this becomes and very very low mental capacity play lengthening your sessions making you less susceptible to tilt and keeping anxiety levels down.

I like the hand and don't think 79dd is a bad open MP on a tight table.

Post flop all looks great.

97s is a standard open from me in MP, no problems there.

C bet is fine with the draw, but maybe there's an argument vs this player to check behind on the turn. Villain looks really bad and probably won't be folding often at all once he's called the flop. Even what you make extra by having a bigger pot on the river to bet into might not make up for that.

Bet bigger flop and turn. It adds up. You likely missed 3 bb... 3bb per 100 hands is a decent winrate. I open a lot so 79dd looks pretty to me. However I would fold here. Btn CO ok open. MP not without solid reads on player tendencies.
