I would call the turn with showdown value and the draw. No need to turn top pair into a bluff at this stage.

@trollord59 Why do you think checking the flop is better than betting? I would bet this 100% of the time, particularly as we're in position, and can juice the pot in case we bink the turn or river. Checking just guarantees that we never get 3 streets of value if we make a flush.

Range considerations. A concept which is obviously way to advanced for your mind as you only think on a simple level it appears. K,9s has showdown value, however its not a hand i wish to put truckloads of money on the flop facing a raise. Also, by checking/behind i don't leave myself completely capped on turn allowing my opponent to barrel me with impunity when the flush does get there as most of my check/backs will be weak hands. Also, its a hand that can easily call 2 streets of aggression from our opponent possibly be turned into a river bluff shove depending on the run out. In other words, it has a lot of play-ability on future streets. However, i don't think betting is the worst play i have ever seen, but it would not be my standard play.

There little need for 'range considerations' at 10nl.

Flop bet is fine with our hand and draw, turn I would have checked as our hand isn't that strong but has some SDV and equity on the river.

As played, not loving life but I call the turn.

Preflop and flop are fine. As for the turn, I like bet/calling here given the fact that you have position and therefore playing river won't be as difficult as it would've been if you were out of position in this spot.

Nice to see differeing opinions in this it gives me soemthing to look into more.

Truth is, I looks like from your comments that I picked the worst option and folded. Oh well.

I thought I wasn't drawing to the nuts anyway, a T river could be a death card and maybe villain has one already giving me even less outs.

Cbet flop, Turns is a good card for villain since it hits alot of his range hence i would check.

I don't think its the worst option. I doubt players at 10nl are bluffing this spot all that often so its ok to fold from a exploitative standpoint.

Easy cbet flop vs this limp/call fish

I would also check back flop. This is a board which we have a lot of very good semi bluff hands in our range and better kx/ two pair to cbet around 60% pot. I then put my more nutted combos, top/2nd set in my bigger bet sizing range along with hands that don't really conect with the board but need to bet so we don't end up folding so much OTT after checking. Because we will still have a lot hands we check back otf to either delay cbet with or fold to a bet I prefer checking my weaker kx here. We can now have an easy bluff catching range OTT/R, have some fd in our checking range and have a value betting range OTT to allow us to bluff our prementioned delayed cbet bluffs.

AP I think it's pretty gross. I probably sigh fold as we are only getting 2-1 and we likely only have flush outs which will sometimes be dead to nf (only applicable if he shoves non flush rivers which I fold to 100% of the time) or have less outs when villain has sets.
