Pre I think is standard vs basic unknown (but looking reggish so far).

Don't see value in betting here. Everything that was ahead still is and I'm now miles ahead of all his TT-QQ, Ax, Kx. FD surely would bet there so I'm discounting that a big bit.

Check gets the bet I wanted so I call and plan to call river. J is not ideal as AJ, KJ and QT get there and could have been in his range but FD bricked, I still beat lots of 1 pair hands and some air that might take this line so fine to call? It does look a big bet though.

I do see your reasoning for calling river, however given their sizing and the fact that regs at these limits don't bluff as often as they should, I'd be making an exploitative fold here. Just for the sheer fact that regs don't bluff like this,most likely they were trying to c-r you with AK or slow playing a set based on their turn and river sizing.

I know this is such a small range to give them but from my extensive history it's usually the case. I've not played these stakes for a while so do let me know if I'm out of touch a bit with the games and regs at 25nl are doing this kind of stuff with PP turned as bluffs etc.

Finally, if they did have a bluff I think they are going to bet the flop, whereas medium strength hands like QQ-JJ are going to check it down, again leading me to think they have a monster.

There is a flush draw out there on the flop, some gutshots, some worse hands that can pay off on the flop. Usually better to bet. Theoretically we sometimes check back because we expect villain to double-barrel bluff if we don't check back some stuff like this. But the truth is that no-one really double barrel bluffs frequently enough on turn and river at this limit, so the only thing we really achieve by checking back the flop is giving a free card on a texture with available draws.

I would usually mix it up by checking and betting this flop.

If I c bet then it's probably flop and turn to check behind on the river.

As was said already though because villains at these stakes won't bluff frequently enough if you check behind on the flop then a river bet is probably not going to be a call for this size if he double barrels. I can definitely see him checking AJ to you on this flop as well.

Net result is I would make a tight fold, he's not likely doing this with AT.
