NL5 55

Hello! How do you guys think I played this hand?
I had no reads or hands on this guy.
Did I miss out on some value since I didnt check raise the flop? I decided not to raise the flop since I think many people fold draws and one pair hands on this limit.

Just got the link for now. If anyone can tell me how to proper post the hand, let me know... ty.

I don't mind the call on the flop seeing as it's a rainbow board but I would be raising the turn. Ax is definitely in his range and a decent amount of draws, a turn raise will get called a lot more than a river raise. River raise just looks so strong. We also want to protect from some draws on the turn so I think it's the best play

Hey there, I think the flop call is fine, I'd check raise if there was 2 of a suit though. I think the raise in this hand should come on the turn when a FD and ace hits, and then go from there. Make the raise about 2.5x-2.7x.

Thanks both of you! I agree with the raise on the turn.

Hi PokerKim, first i prefer raise 2x in BU

flop is very dangerous and think that is better raise here, because in this lvl is possible that villain can call KJ/KQ/JQ/KT/AT, but call is good to induce turn

turn yes is sure raise, because this A impact good in his range and we need extract value, this A is perfect to us

same i like your line passive to induce and perfect jam in river if you only call river it can be a big mistake but no, nice hand!

Hello juanoell. Yes I do raise 2x on the button

I think its fine to raise the flop if you are against someone aggro at this limits otherwise I think to many people fold at such a dry board. Also he bets half pot so I think it can be a c-bet just with air to try take down the pot. I feel like many people do c-bet the flop and shut down on the turn when they have air/weak hands.

He does show some strength with the double barrel so I agree with the turn. We should raise for value and protection.

Looking back now I think it looks like he has a strong K or a weak A on the river with his sizing, I guess the river shove is fine.

Raising the flop to induce overpairs to stack off will be the most profitable line. Taking the line you did risks overcards coming and putting villain off from getting the chips in.

There's no guarantee that he will continue to bluff with AK/AQ type hands so just go for value against the made hands in his range. There's also a few draws he can be 3 betting you with from the blinds as well

Alright thanks for comment! Does it mean you raise every flop when you have a set?
