Pre we Iso a limper as standard. Flop is not awesome but vs a limp caller I think there is stil plenty of value. Turn brings a second draw and limits the Kx combos so good card.

River the plan is to check call hoping he might value bet a Tx or bluff a missed FD. In hindsight I think bet fold would have been better.

As played stick with the plan when he pots it?

With your line it is a call.

I'd check this flop though. We don't need to worry much about protection as only A is a scare card and we can give rope and pretty much just station down, or value bet turn, river if goes x/x.

Flop check is definitely reasonable here and might even be the best line. We are obviously against a weaker player so there is a chance we can still extract value with this line. As played, underbet river might be slightly stronger than checking, and as played it's usually a x/f.

We extract the same value by checking flop and betting turn and/or river... Except after he checks flop he has far less kx in his range. So the flop bet is probably not that high EV andnonce he calls, the turn bet probably less so.

@milfgrinder

I don't think that we can ever say "with this line it is a call". That ties you into calling even if villain only value bets river which would be -EV. We could say that we bet twice to extract Vale from TX/pp and his draws which he checks back river with and fold v a bet which although can be a bluff is likely not to be bluff heavy enough to make the call.
