Anon v bad regs, weak/passive.

So not sure about this, it's OOP and I hate that, but these two villains and the board were just crying out for it; and I've been quiet so far over 200 hands or so.

Pf I think could even have been 10bb but I'm ok with it as is.

Flop: Continue the story of a big hand, but when villain calls I'm sure he has pp given his PF 2x Or. Hard to tell though becasue nobody seems to want to fold flop today and I've been getting floated then folded to on the turn for an hour on this table. Easy game sometimes Smile

Turn: bink, but am I ahead (probably unless I'm getting slowplayed), meh, bet anyway. Smile

River, kinda want to ship this but a little concerned villain snap-called the turn.

Ship it and so beit if villain has overpair, but I feel better when he tanks! Sweating

So is the play ok generally? My own thought is the population don't fold to 3bets a lot so it may have been a bit loose?

Thanks.

I don't think there is any value in betting the flop. We never fold better and worse never calls.

We have a bluff catcher, would have checked the flop and called a bet.

The river I don't like either, same again if they fold we were ahead, if they call we lose every single time I think. Bit thin to shove to extract value from 44-88 IMO.

I think these offsuit aces play poorly in this spot OOP. I would much rather have something suited and kind of connected.

As played check call is normal on this flop, but once you bet I like your follow up size on the turn, maybe it could be even smaller, I'm not 100% sure.

River is definitely too thin. At these stakes I think a check fold would be best. If villain has 22, 44-88 he shouldn't be looking to value bet. Nor should he have floated you twice to get to the river with a random Ax. It sucks if/when he shoves 9x, but how many 9x are defending a squeeze and floating the flop?

Preflop: I hate the 3bet. I cant see a good reason why a squeeze is good here without some good reads in the sense i expect to get folds preflop.
Flop: I think we should fire a Cbet to be honest. I have JJs,QQs,KKs,AAs,AQs,KQs sometimes. Its a board i look to play aggressively on.
Turn: Once we make showdown value i think i check/call this one. I probably do this with some Qx hands to.
River: As played, i am pretty happy check/folding here. This is pretty low within my range for check/calling turn and getting to the river so i feel decent about it.

Pointless me writing a reply this is utterly perfect.

Yes, thank you very much guys. Sometimes I do something and it just feels a bit uncomfortable, sort of in the background of my thinking as it were. It usually turns out to be that I played it wrong but it's often too late by then, hence the post.

I did cbet flop because I should have a strong hand there, I would cbet aces 3 handed and even quads. The rest I am in total agreement with.

Thanks a lot again everybody. Bowing

Squeezing with A9o is meh, would rather do that with @ least A9s or AJo imo.
Flop is better to check with a purpose of x/calling, you are only bluffing AJ/AK ( AK will call a ton and Aj will sometimes call too).
If flop goes check check, you can lead this turn; If flop was a x/c, you can x/c turn.
As played shoving is correct.

I totally agree with @trollord59. This 3bet is not atrocious if you wanted to isolate super wide, bad opponent, but it's far from being good by default.
