Anon. I went for pot control on turn and also thought it would allow him to bluff at the turn. I was trying to get to SD at this point. Any feedback?

Bet 3 streets for value here, no need to pot control we turned top set, yes villain can have some flushes but he has way more 1 pair with heart combos, gut shots etc that wont be folding to turn bet, even some flopped sets that opted not to raise flop.

We have to try get max value with close to the the top of our range in these type of spots, if we run into a flush by the river then so be it IMO

Pot controll was not necessary in this case.

Just think about how many Flushes villain can have when he calls a 3bet pot (presumably he is not a fishy moron that calls everything): I can think of only 2 likely nut flush hands: KQ and KJ... everything QJ might not call, JT, T9 or 98 might... so he has 2 nut combos, and 3 more flushes --> he cannot have Ahxh because the Ah was the turn card. so there are nearly no flushes in his 3bet calling range.

when you keep accelerating and bet bet jam you might even fold out the 3 flushes... but you are ahead of soooo many hands that will call(12 sets on the flop, and a magnitude of Ax that will call at least the turn...)

As @Curl-1-out wrote your top set is close to the top of your range you have to go for max value... yes you will lose some hands... but i guess only 3 or 4 out of 20

Yehh I'm just shipping the river to be honest, maybe pot if you don't think he'll call it all. If he has a flush, meh, nice hand sir. There's no realistic straight... we have so much crushed, go for value

And I also agree. No point in pot controlling in a top set when the stack to pot ratio is shallow enough that realistically you can never get away from putting all your money in against a flush.
