Wanted to get some feedback on bet sizing and alternative lines on this one. I chose to bet flop, then check turn and call river. Was curious if this is a better hand to put in a check back range, then just call down most turns and rivers. Seeing how he bet the river though just curious if maybe in this spot betting flop and turn would be better and if you get called both streets just check back the river, especially with something like the exact hand they have. I feel like I lost value by giving up the initiative, cuz with a lot of Jx that is what they are going to do on the river, just bet small since I bet the flop and could still very well have Kx.

Firstly I'd just ISO raise to 0.40 - 0.45.

Then I probably bet about 70% on flop. I don't think you need to be checking this multiway as you want to get value and charge the draws that may be out there.

Turn I'd go for the check line as I'd like 2 streets with a hand that isn't too strong and also you can induce bluffs. So this worked out well.

So your line I like, apart from PF sizing really.

ya didn't even realize i did that. probably a miss click. Or didn't realize someone limped. I normally iso that

Pre flop you know was a mistake.

On the flop you bet almost pot which might be ok given the preflop sizing, otherwise it should be a smaller % multiway.

Betting the turn will be better EV than checking and allowing him to bet the river for you to a smaller size when you're just calling and not strong enough to raise. If you bet 1.10 on the turn he's still calling with a lot of his range that you beat that calls the flop bet.

It's also simpler when you know you want to check behind on the river so villain has to play his hand face up if he wants more value from a better hand.

Bigger iso pre.

I don't mind the flop sizing, especially vs. a preflop limper.

As for the turn the worse your opponent is the more I'm inclined to bet this since you can often get thin value + free showdown.

As played I'm super tempted to raise this vs. sizing especially given that we underplayed our hand on the turn, but I'm pretty sure it's to thin in most cases so I'd just call.
