i thought of betting not to be bluffed, but after the fact, i don't think it was so good of a call, what are you're thoughts?
have only 18 hands on player, but is 56/11/5, so an 8 is surely in his range

We missed value by not betting the turn imo, they are going to call with every Ax, 9x and draw, need to bet that 100%.

River to me is a fold, can have almost every 8x in their range.

Pre: I would be making it at least 20c here pre as an iso.

Flop: I see no reason not to bet here ourselves. We have flopped a monster and should be looking for three streets of value here.

Turn: Same as above, I would be betting flop followed by a bet on the turn here.

River: As played I like the bet fold, it is unlikely that villain will show us worse here after taking this line.

If you are going to iso-raise it should be closer to 25cents. However, iso-ing is not mandatory with this holding, and SB complete is perfectly reasonable instead. Folding is probs not reasonable unless specific read on BB.

Anywhere, really clear value-bet on the flop. Absolutely no good reason to slowplay here. Plan is to bet/bet/bet on good runouts. The only part of this hand where it gets difficult to value-bet is the river because the 4-to-straight completes. 2/3rds pot is therefore way too big as played, should be 1/2 or 1/3rd instead.

As played we're both nice and deep so I'd bet around 30c on that flop and 75-80c on the turn these days, get the value when I can.

The river is a bit meh so a thin value bet of around the 80c mark seems ok for me and fold to a raise/shove; but they can call with a lot worse and we have top 2P and no flushes out there.

I'd fold to the river raise even if it was a min raise most times, it's a value bet just way too often.

I'm happy to complete pre OOP with this hand, but you should be making it 5bb at least. You have to adjust for OOP and the fact villain has put an extra bb in the pot already.

On the flop there's absolutely no reason not to value bet. I would be planning to bet all 3 streets with top 2.

As played once you reach this river our hand is probably just strong enough to check and hope he checks down weaker 2 pair combos. As he was a limper I don't mind betting around 25-33% for thin value intending to fold to a raise.
