Anon. Is there a better line to take on the flop here or was my c/r line okay?

Seems fine to me. Lots of over pairs, worse made hands and draws will bet for sure and you can just play as you did. NH

Good play on the flop. maybe he has overpair or TPTK,Flush and s8 draws.. value flop.. nice game.

Yeh sizing seems solid here going 4X on the flop. Could even maybe go slightly bigger due to the texture of the board. Villain will often get in over pairs and of course big combo draws here so yeh just raise and go with it.

You could also just flat the flop and raise/get in on brick turns. I am not against this line at all.

I could see calling flop and raising on a later street vs. some players especially because you're blocking a lot of hands that can call you, but I like your play as default at this limit.

I would probably place this hand into my flop check/call range. We block a lot of the value combos our opponent can continue with. Also, need to protect my check/call range on this board since i will have so many weak hands which continue.
