First of all I wouldn't be opening 27s even on the button unless the blinds are folding too much to steals from the BTN.

On the flop bet call is good, I don't see any reason to 3bet or something crazy like that.

On the turn the check could be both good and bad, a bet is good because we want to protect against his single spade hands but in this case I think it's ok to check back because he has more of those made flushes in his range so we just take a free card and if he doesn't have it maybe induce a bluff on the river.

The river is obviously awesome but it is questionable what raise size we should use. I actually don't think shoving is bad because it does look like a bluff a bit more but to be realistic we almost never hold a bluff here if we raise. I'd just shove and hope he calls with some kind of a full house and maybe a flush if he thinks we're crazy. I don't think he suspects we have a 7 here very often.

fold pre, no need to open 72s even against the given player type. Only exception I would make is against super nits, where we auto profit by raising any two. I like the check on the turn and once we make 4 of a kind on the river I'm jamming this all day long. Don't think he's ever folding a FH and I think he has a lot of them given his line.

I love the open if you know there both folding too much and that it's profitable by the maths. I actually like betting small here to try and value a flush and induce. I don't think he has big pairs in his range.

In the end I decided to ship it and he tank/folded. What he could tank/fold there I don't know after betting but there y'go.

I think the open pre is too loose but can be ok if the blinds are way too tight. It's unlikely you have enough of a sample to determine that at anon tables though.

I'd raise to something like 30-40bb on the river. It's incredibly hard for him to have a good full hours on the river (x/r flop with some sort of Tx?) and I think that's a size that will get some calls from stuff like flushes and 88 type hands. It also lets him bluffshove over your raise which, while rare, will happen a non-zero amount of the time.

Just make it like 35-55 otr depending on villain etc., but given his line I would make it on the smaller side here. Jamming river is just too big in this spot and will never get the right amount of calls unless villain is a huge whale, there are many spots where we can make big jams on rivers at these stakes, but raising small has to have a higher EV in this one imo.

But yeah, start out by folding pre next time, there are lots of other suited hands we can profitable raise on the button, don't think people fold enough to make 72s a steal.
