Your flop bet is fine, don't expect them to fold any pair and call with most Ax type hands. See no reason to check back as I think we lose too much value.

Definitely cbet as this will be one of your strongest hands and villain will have plenty worse to call with. On this dry of a board in a 3bet pot I could get behind any sizing form like 10c-22c so I like your sizing. If he has nothing and folds, that's fine but checking here and giving Ax a free card is a terrible result.

The only reason you should check here if is you expect villain to bluff heavily and you can't make that assumption against an unknown.

I think that going for three medium size bets will be superior to just about anything else against most NL2 players. You could potentially check the flop and bluff catch vs. aggressive outliers, but I'd just go bet/bet/bet by default and size it around 1/2 pot (unless villain is confirmed recreational with static ranges) to invite the widest range possible.

@Komododragonjesus Do you think there's any merit to going big the on flop and turn to maximise value from floats which likely only call one street, and small pairs which *might* call twice possibly folding on the river. I'm struggling to find a reason why smaller bets might be more +EV

Smaller bets allows you to make more profit with your bluffs in a spot where you have a range advantage such as this one. Since it's a 3bet pot it's still really easy to get stacks in with your value hands by the river so adding EV to bluffs and not significantly taking away from value hands seems like a good way to go. That would just be my default play, if villain calls too much then going bigger with a tighter range should be the way to go.
