99 should still be in your calling range here. You can't feel good folding such a strong starting hand and raising doesn't seem great either.
Also I think villain info... how tight they play can have a factor. There's always gonna be some awkward spots, but focus on their bet size and board texture. Position sucks here but calling is fine.

If I 3bet 99 v assumed utg range it would just be bluffing really so calling is fine imo. Not folding, this is far too strong even to the 4x although we will often be set mining from our position because of so many overcard flops.

Yeh this hand falls firmly in our calling range vs pretty much all types of player. It is not strong enough to 3B for value nor weak enough to turn into a bluff.

Of course 99 should be in your calling range here. It has good enough post flop playability, but it's not exactly strong enough to 3bet. While it's not necessarily good to call wide vs. UTG 99 is not exactly wide.
