NL10 AA

What to do on the river? Pre is normal, flop I bet hoping AJ, AQ, KK etc can call. Plus AK, draws etc. Turn is odd as pairs but otherwise blank. Decided to check call to control pot.

Now what do we do on river? Plan was check call unless improve then I'm check raising obvs.

Need to see the river first Paul Laugh .

Oh I left it out on purpose because I hit the A and it became super easy. I realised on review though that I had no plan for what I would do on a blank or a Q/J. Let's say the river was 6c for blank. What then? Or it's a J. What then.

I think we can find too many different scenarios here(According different river variations).I believe his flop calling range some KQ,AQ type hands(yes sometimes QJ),T9s,KTs,ATs.I don't know if villain will have many Jx hands here since it's sd value on the turn.Villain's turn bet size seems like he will check back many rivers. On A you might not get much action other than bluffs but on 6c river you can x/r river very profitable.

I think I'm betting this turn. Villain has this loose passive look about him already so there's plenty of straight draws to get value from potentially. We also define our hand better if we bet and get raised.

As played once we check turn checking river makes the most sense, and I think I would check fold as at 10NL I don't expect him to be value betting worse. KK might but he shouldn't have that in his range. A loose guy like this can have plenty of 4x too.

I think the question doesn't have too much value because we should probably be firing the turn mostly. Also while it may be correct to check AA sometimes, it will probably be correct to x/r most of the time as opposed to x/c.

As played I would tend towards donk-betting river after x/c turn. Villain doesn't seem super interested based on his bet sizing, so we don't especially want him checking back marginal made hands on the river. The best play is heavily villain dependent in this situation though, so we should use any reads if we have them.
