NL10 AK (vs call reraise)

Ok this hand I admit I wasn't comfortable with, and ths is purely because of history from this exact villain. I watched him not too long earlier make a limp reraise with AA and then make dangerous small bets and squeeze money out of a guy (obviously he just saw AA and thought he was unbeatable regardless of what draws developed) and then in this hand he call the original raise and makes a small reraise vs my squeeze, alarm bells go off as I saw what he showed up with last time. And I posted the result at the bottom.

My question is... can we just outright fold this pre? When you have such a spot on read vs someone and they do this, I don't want to be shipping. So this kinda sucks, of course the results orientated side likes the fact that he shows AA, but as a general thing here, do others just make a fold pre ever?

My plan would have been if I hit an ace to go with it as he can have KK some times too. But really I'm just looking for trips or a straight or and Ace vs his KK.

So I'm not really happy.

I know there are definitely times that we can make exploitative fold on BV with guys like this but not sure this is one of them. I guess mathematically if you knew 100% that he had AA, then I guess you could fold this. If my math is right, you are getting 4-1 on this call so need 20% equity. Against exactly AA you don't have that, but if you go off your reasoning about him potentially have KK or anything else then I think you need to continue.

I personally think it is worth the risk to try and hit your trips or straight with a guy like this, as he is never folding AA and possibly not folding KK either. Based on his stats and how he is playing I really don't think he is folding much of anything that he hits. So if you can in fact hit your hand, your implied odds are really good.

I think with the ace blocker I'm going with it pre for 100bb.

A lot of the time in this spot versus a bad player they'll be scared to see a flop in a 3 bet pot and do this with hands you dominate. This guy is clearly bad.

Well, not taking the opportunity to isolate clearly recreational BU with one of the best hands you can possibly get pre would be a crime. Unfortunately, once he goes for a 4bet his range usually shifts dramatically from very wide to very narrow and even if calling pre is totally fine given the sizing villain used we can't do much more than that. I feel like you played the hand fine, you just have to accept the fact that worst case scenario just happens sometimes.
