Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh what a river! So sick and they are just rarely bluffing there.

Saying that, what can he have? He's raised UTG and you said he's been very tight. How many 6's does he have. Pocket 6's are a possibility. AKhh AQhh. We do have a heart blocker as well ughhh XC XC XR looks so strong though. Have you been quite active? How often has he got QQ-AA to make this a profitable call?

I just dont think he is the type to X Raise bluff on the river. I have been quite active and if you have AA-QQ i think he is check calling rather then clicking back. At 10nl I think im losing long term if I call this spot, unless this is a lag style player.

He did also dramatically tank for this move....which also made me want to fold more

river as played a fold... nice that you were so disciplined Smile

some other suggestions:

sizing could be bigger on flop and turn. He calls you with strong draws, overpairs and worse sets or not at all. Additionally you make it very expensive for his Axhh to get there.

On he river though you have to think about what gives you action. His high pocket pairs fold after everything there is got there.... 22, 33 and 77 raise you on the turn... so you get only action by straights or flushes.... especially as you said Villain is passive. Against an evercalling fish the thin value bet on the river is fine but here it was too thin

I might be tempted overbet the turn 2x versus a tight player, they hate folding overpairs, we get value from set over set and general population tendencies mean they call just about anything up to the river with a flush draw, nit or not.
I would bet/fold the river and move but make it a bit smaller as played, I dont expect to get bluff raised here.
