Versus a tightwad showing 12/8/0 so far over 180h only tho. I don't think this guy wouldn't buy his mrs a round at his own wedding.

So I thought long about this one and decided to fold and post it up.

The BU can have overpairs as well as flush draws, he can have sets to of course but I favour overpair or fl draw.

So is a fold too weak? Thing is, I cant really 3bet can I? Oppo can have overcards fl dr they will never fold so I have overcards that dominate me including better Tx as well to contend with. Calling brings the same problem on the turn, I'm really drawing to 9 aren't I?
Yes, I know it's 'only' a minraise.

I find these situations more interesting because there are a lot of ponderables. Ponderables are fun.

Thanks.

Well played. Why are you opening 4,5x? Is it because you have a high VPIP fish behind you or is it standard? Having it as a standard is bad.

3bet 0 over 180hands could easily mean that he has JJ+ in his range which makes a huge difference since he might now ch/raise them + all the sets.

Don't really know where you get the idea to 3bet flop? You shouldn't.

I think this is fine to fold multi way but a hand like A10 or K10 with K diamonds we should peal and not really think about folding at any point.

I've noticed in a couple of other hands that you're opening to 4.5x. The trend over the years has been towards smaller sizes around 2.2 or 2.5. You're risking less when they all fold, but mathematically you're forcing them to play a wider range against you otherwise it's a mistake.

Versus a multiway flop raise I'm folding here. For a min raise here I might stretch it to defending AT, but there's just so many better hands he can have here.

UTG posted 1bb guys, I was iso-raising a passive table. Smile
I don't do 2.2 or 2.5 except CO and BU because they'll call Q4s in SB v utg at this limit anyway. I do of course adjust as per dynamic so even my 3X utg might be 2/4/5 or more even if the situation demnads. I don't do fancy because it's become the 'norm' on this site, I just make 'em pay to see a flop and if they limp or post I make 'em pay more; easy game. MuscleLaugh

Thanks for the info about fold or not fold, people, it always feels a bit weak to do it but glad I got it right for a change.

Thanks again. Smile

I think the ISO is fine. it IS an ISO right... I might just make it 4, but UTG and OOP to the poster I think 4.5 is fine.

VS an honest tight guy with no diamonds in our hand, I think we can just make exploitable folds all day, WP in my opinion.
