In these kind of spots I never know if it's right to just bet bet bet if he just checks. I feel like most of the time they just try to hit their flush but sometimes on the turn or river they will just reraise me.

I like your double barrel but I would give up on the river as they are not folding a K or better and we beat their flush draws.

I would re think your sizing though, it's too small on all 3 streets and I'm pretty sure you had the best hand on the river if they folded for that sizing.

Make your sizing around 70-80% each street. You will not get any folds for 48c into $1.27 as you're giving them great odds to call.

I agree with @Harvie

I would go a bit bigger on the flop, much bigger on the turn, probably around 75%.

The Jx pairing is probably the last card you want to see. By double barreling your intention is to get him to fold all hands that are worse than a pair of jacks minus some draws. That means stuff like 77, A4, 65 should all be folding to the turn bet. That leaves his range pretty heavily weighted towards jacks. AQ should win at showdown against his missed draws also so betting to get him to fold those doesn't add any value.

If the river was any card under a jack I would be in favour of throwing in the 3rd barrel but not this time.

I see. The thing is that i kind of tought that he would probably fold even to a smaller bet so I don't have to get in as much money but yeah, you are probably right it makes sense to show more strength.

Without a solid read that villain opens wide and will call OOP with dominated aces I prefer a call pre.

I agree with the others about bigger bet sizes. Once villain calls the turn though I would give it up. I wouldn't hold out any hopes of him folding AK KQ here at 2NL.
